Production notes below.

The recording environment here actually has a lot of wind noise as the room sits next to the entrance to the operating theatre complex (with its positive pressure pushing air); that was well attenuated with Brusfri. However, moving the microphone around towards the different people talking let to microphone noise with the Takstar. Some of it wasn’t severe enough to require editing, but at some areas I needed to surgically EQ it to attenuate it (it can’t be eliminated as it occurred during dialogue). With previous recordings, moving the mic around wasn’t a problem as the mic was moved between planned gaps; any noise could be removed without disturbing the dialogue. I wonder if the shock mount of this mic is not as good as the Boya BY-MM1 and that I should try out that mic next time. I do, however, appreciate the slightly higher bass in the Takstar which I might miss in a future recording.
